We seemed to be reviewing a shitload of number ones, eh? That just goes to tell you that either there is a huge talent and buyer market boom or that comics companies are trying to squeeze every possible dime from all its existing readers ... and with this book in hand? The latter comes to mind
I mean, there is a semi-regular (we call it that because of the many relaunches) Deadpool series out there ... so why is there a need for this limited series when it is just another story about Deadpool's ongoing life of mayhem and carnage (no pun intended)?
Let us show you what we mean ...
SPOILER ALERT
Cletus Arkady a serial killer got bonded with an alien symbiote's offspring (baby you idiot) ... and this alien symbiote was the one who became Spidey's original black suit before breaking away and transforming into Venom (formerly bad guy turned good recently) ... got it?
And as usual, he broke out of prison and started random killings ...
So with nothing better to do than live inside his own head and going crazy, Deadpool decides to hunt down Carnage and kill him free ... what kind of shit ass merc is that? We honestly do not know. All we get is a series of rambling through each page until they find each other and try to kill each other ... while we know Deadpool has regenerative capabilities, it seems that they are even faster than Wolvie's as he could generate his hand within seconds from nothing ness ...
If you are wondering what next ... there is none. That's it! End of issue 1 ... see what we mean? This could have been included as a shorter arc in an ongoing chapter of Deadpool's own comic ... sigh!
