Yes, yes, yes - third Iron Man review in a row and for this we jump back to vol 1 where for the first time in a long time, Iron Man is not the golden Avenger but the silver/ white and red Avenger in a chunky armour
Why did I buy this particular issue from online shops?
Goliath - the villain. I always liked him because not only is he big but he has subsequently imbued himself with Ionic energy like Wonder Man which makes him more powerful than most of the powerful powerhouses in the Marvel U
In this issue, some stupid lawyer and cops want to transfer him to a regular cell and because of legality, Hawkeye and Mockingbird have to release him. There are some lighthearted quips from H and M including feeding Goliath and you get the feeling that they were more like adversaries in a sporting game than trying to kill each other
Still as the cover shows, Goliath did finally break free while en route to police station and it's up to Iron Man, singlehandedly, to take him down (naturally) as apparently both H and M have nothing in their arsenal for heavy hitters. Ah well ... it takes all types to be Avengers, right? Hehehe!
Love this issue - the art and colours are so vibrant!
