As per our last review, in this year's annual, the crossover is titled Lifeform and spreads out over 4 issues. This is number 3 and basically with each issue, the threat grows in size although it is the same threat. Now if the Hulk is only worthy of 3 not yet final issue, who could potentially be more powerful?
Silver Surfer
But hey let's get back to our Mr Green ... except at this point a year later he is still Mr Grey. Basically the threat is a guy who got infected and he gets hungry for flesh, human flesh and he eats and grows and mutates bigger and larger ... in fact the start of this tale is narrated by him
Now after his last tussle with DD, he went off and ran into that weird magical entity called Mercy. The only problem is Mercy is not human and doesn't really understand human needs and motivations. So what she did is that as she no longer kills, she transports him to where the Hulk is thinking that one ugly can help another cope but ... his hunger overwhelms him and a fight broke out
What is cool about this tale is at this point, Banner and Hulk are two individuals and Hulk is just nasty until almost the end ... when the Hulk gets chill wondering what's going to happen next ... and whether he will perish ...
Aside from this, we have 3 other tales. One is bad artwork and lame storyline She Hulk, one is about Samson and his nightmares, and finally Hulk's top 10 regular sparring partners. Best of all? The last!
