Do you know how tempted I am to continue reviewing more of this particular run of Thor? Because it is such a good read! ARGHahahahahahaha!
Anyhow, recently we see Thor seeming to have problems controlling his weapon of choice, Mjolnir almost as if it was developing a consciousness of its own. Some of the troubles include not coming back to his hand when thrown and this can cause problems cause without it for a full 60 seconds and Thor reverts to his mortal guise
For this issue, the big action scene takes a backseat regardless of the cover and instead the focus is on moving all subplots forward. We get to see more of the Mysterious Gods that have overtaken Asgard and brought it down low for in this issue, the leader of the pantheon finally materializes within her conquered lands
Then we get to see slice of life of Thor's mortal chap as he encounters people he knows as Don Blake, as Thor and what-not plus what he does for a living
And naturally to tie everything together, the vehicle of choice is a newscaster's ranting n raving tirade on air against Thor just as he needed Thor's help. Irony?
Ratings: 6/10 (sorry I still need me some thumping action)
