From one appearance of the Masters of Evil to the next, let's skip approximately 4 years worth of issues and here we find the next official incursion of the MoE ... and this is appropriate because if your first introduction to the MoE is from our last review and thought that inspite of their colourful appearance and powers, they were easily defeated ... well, here is where the Avengers are defeated ... literally!This particular story arc is to run for several more issues but it has been building up rather well. With a proper leader now in the form of Zemo who plans to take out primarily Captain America, he has been a planning and a plotting and finding the weakest moment in the Mansion, has sent out his troops to take the team down ... and with each issue, as each unsuspecting member comes "home", Zemo and his gang takes them down more and more .... until this issue
Here, we see Hercules NO SPOILER ALERT who has, of late, been disgruntled with the Wasp (a woman!) being in charge and is giving her a hard time. And to release his pent up frustrations, he goes out and gets royally drunk. So naturally when danger beckons, he charges forward even more foolhardy than his usual self
And BANG his initial strength may carry him far but not far enough ... so when it was time to gang up and beat the stuffing out of a demi-god, the MoE sure laid it into him ... what you see on the cover? So much worse happens inside!
